The West Noble Lady Chargers defeated the Bethany Christian Bruins in the season opener on Thursday night in Ligonier by a score of 39-26 under the guidance of 1st year Charger skipper Steve Wiktorowski. Coach Wik said "I thought we had a pretty well balanced offensive and rebounding effort tonight. I thought we were able to rely on our defense when we struggled offensively. I was especially happy with only 9 turnovers for a first game and hitting 7 of 7 free throws. I thought Sr. Chloie Ulrey did some very positive things with limited past experience." The Chargers will travel to Blackhawk Christian on Saturday to play a varsity only contest starting at 2pm. Good luck ladies and congratulations.
