The West Noble Chargers traveled to Blackhawk Christian on Saturday afternoon and were defeated 58-44. The Lady Chargers got off to a slow start as Blackhawk came out shooting extremely well from all over to take a 20-5 lead at one point. The Lady Chargers settled in and outscored the Lady Braves the rest of the way. Sophomores Elyse Mead (13), Ava DeLong(11) and Ella Limerick(11) all scored in double digits for the Chargers. Senior Cloie Ulrey chipped in 5 while Brooklyn Barden and Addyson Burns each scored 2. Coach Wiktorowski summed up the game by saying..."We had a real tough start in our first game on the road but played them pretty even the rest of the way. They had good size and shooting that we struggled with initially but adjusted. Elyse Mead took good care of the ball, and it was good to get both Ella Limerick and Ava DeLong in double digits." The Chargers will host Columbia City on Tuesday at 6pm. Good luck ladies!
