The West Noble Lady Chargers lost to the Wawasee Lady Warriors in a tightly contested varsity matchup. The Chargers battled the Warriors for all 4 quarters before some timely shooting by the visitors proved to be too much. Coach Wiktorowski once again walked away with some positives from his young squad. "I thought we hung around the first half despite too many turnovers. The 2nd half we adjusted to their press, increased our own pressure, and got a lot of good looks off moving the ball. We just missed a lot of close range shots- especially after we took the lead with 4:00 to go. Unfortunately we really struggled to score at the finish despite good looks. We just need a little more confidence in our shooting, especially late, and we’ll be good. Ava DeLong did a great job rebounding on both ends with 14 boards. Elyse Meade made some big shots from 3 at key junctures." The Chargers will travel to Westview on Thursday for a NECC matchup. That game will start at 6pm in the Warrior Dome. Good luck ladies!
