The West Noble Lady Chargers continued to improve on the season as they took the Central Noble Cougars to the wire Friday night in Ligonier. The Chargers led for a large part of the game but CN came up big late in the game and defeated the host team. Sophomore Elyse Mead led the Chargers in scoring with 17 points while freshman Brooklyn Barden scored a career high 8 points an sophomores Addyson Burns and Ella Limerick each chipped in with 5. Cloie Ulrey chipped in with 3 while Ava DeLong added 2. Coach Wik had this to say about the game. "I was very happy with how we bounced back from a tough performance on Tuesday. CN is always one of the best teams in the area. I thought we probably outplayed them but just couldn’t get a shot to drop at the end. Brooklyn Barden did a nice job in her first start. Very proud of everyone’s effort tonight." The Chargers will play at Prairie Heights on Tuesday in another Boy/Girls doubleheader. The schedule will be as follows: 4:30 pm - PH Girls JV vs. New Haven; Boys JV vs. West Noble 6:00 pm - Girls V vs. West Noble; Boys C-team vs. West Noble 7:30 pm - Boys V vs. West Noble
