The West Noble Lady Chargers trailed 17-7 at one point Tuesday night before roaring and finally taking the lead late in the 4th quarter to defeat Concord 36-33. The Chargers had a total team effort tonight throughout the game. Leading in scoring was Elyse Mead with 12 points while Leah Pruitt added 8 points. Addyson Burns and Ella Limerick each scored 7 points while Cloie Ulrey and Ava DeLong each added one point each. DeLong once again was terrific on the boards tonight while Pruitt played strong post defense. Coach Wiktorowski had this to say.... "It was a good win considering we got off to a tough start and were behind most of the game. I thought our defense adjusted the second half and kept them to one shot. We had a more balanced offense tonight and hit some big shots and FTs when we needed them most." The Chargers have now won 3 of their last 5 to up their record to 6-9. West Noble will play Lakeland on Friday in a boy girls DH. The JV Boys will play at 5pm followed by the varsity girls and then the Varsity boys. Great job and good luck ladies!
