The West Noble Chargers competed in the NECC Wrestling Tournament on Saturday at Lakeland High School. The Chargers had two wrestlers earn NECC All-Conference honors, as Gavin Christman and Brogan Parks each finished as conference runners-up to place 2nd overall. Both Christman and Parks battled through some of the toughest championship matches of the day. Joe Button, Leon Bontrager, and Hayden Clouse each earned 5th-place finishes, while Korbin Rassner placed 6th. As a team, the Chargers finished 9th overall. West Noble will host the IHSAA Wrestling Sectional next Saturday, with wrestling set to begin at 9:00 a.m.
