The West Noble Lady Chargers fell to East Noble on Thursday night in a make up contest from Tuesday 55-28. The Chargers got off to a strong start before the Knights kicked in their defensive pressure. Addyson Burns led the Chargers with 10 points while Elyse Mead added 8 and Brooklyn Barden chipped in 7. Ava DeLong added 2 points while Cloie Ulrey scored with a free throw. Coach Wik had this to say.. "I was proud of the effort we bounced back with from Garrett. While we struggled with turnovers and shooting, I saw improvement in how we handled the press. I thought it was maybe the best job we’ve done all year of following the defensive game plan. Now we have to carry that effort over to tomorrow and play hard for our seniors against a good Fairfield team." The Chargers will play on Friday night against the Fairfield Falcons. The JV boys will play at 4:30pm while the Varsity Girls will play at 6pm and the Varsity boys 7:30pm. Come out and support the Chargers!
