By GameChanger Media West Noble Varsity Chargers were victorious against Lakewood Park Christian 7-3 on Thursday. West Noble Varsity Chargers opened the scoring in the first after Trey Shisler singled, scoring one run. In the bottom of the first inning, Lakewood Park Christian went back into the lead after Kolten Kirtley singled down the right field line, Anderson Mohre laid down a sacrifice bunt, and Landon Stoll singled down the right field line, each scoring one run. West Noble Varsity Chargers captured the lead, 5-3, in the top of the fifth when Trevor Martin doubled, scoring two runs, Mason Taylor grounded out, scoring one run, and Cameron Eash hit a sacrifice fly, scoring one run. Joe Button earned the win for West Noble Varsity Chargers. The starting pitcher gave up five hits and three runs (two earned) over seven innings, striking out four and walking one. Andrew Nixon took the loss for Lakewood Park Christian. The reliever went two innings, giving up six runs on four hits, striking out none and walking two. Ethan Young stepped on the mound first for Lakewood Park Christian. The pitcher gave up three hits and one run over four innings, striking out one and walking one. Martin led West Noble Varsity Chargers with two runs batted in. The outfielder went 2-for-3 on the day. Shisler led West Noble Varsity Chargers with three hits in four at bats. Trevor Steele collected two hits for West Noble Varsity Chargers in three at bats. McKale Bottles stole three bases. West Noble Varsity Chargers stole four bases in the game. West Noble Varsity Chargers turned two double plays in the game. Kirtley and Johnson each collected two hits for Lakewood Park Christian.
