Brooklyn Barden’s Clutch Hitting Propels West Noble Varsity Lady Chargers To Victory Over Hamilton By GameChanger Media Brooklyn Barden drove in five runs on two hits to lead West Noble Varsity Lady Chargers past Hamilton 19-8 on Tuesday. Barden singled in the second scoring three, singled in the fourth scoring one, and walked in the sixth scoring one. Hamilton got on the board in the top of the second inning after H Ellert grounded into a fielder's choice, West Noble Varsity Lady Chargers committed an error, and T Sato singled up the middle, each scoring one run. West Noble Varsity Lady Chargers flipped the game on its head in the bottom of the second, scoring seven runs on four hits to take the lead, 7-3. The biggest blow in the inning was a single by Barden on an 0-2 count that drove in three. West Noble Varsity Lady Chargers scored five runs on six hits in the bottom of the fourth inning. Barden singled, scoring one run, Izzy Beers doubled, scoring two runs, Natalie Gow singled, scoring one run, and McKenzie Davidsen singled, scoring one run. West Noble Varsity Lady Chargers scored seven runs on two hits in the bottom of the sixth inning. M Mercer induced Gizelle “Gigi” Reyes to hit into a fielder's choice, but one run scored, Mercer induced Beyonce Marmolejo to hit into a fielder's choice, but one run scored, Karis Hilbish singled, scoring one run, Marley Mast drew a walk, scoring one run, Barden drew a walk, scoring one run, and Brynn Weigold singled, scoring two runs. Beers earned the win for West Noble Varsity Lady Chargers. The right-handed pitcher gave up seven hits and eight runs (four earned) over six innings, striking out three and walking three. Mercer took the loss for Hamilton. The starter went five and one-third innings, allowing 19 runs (11 earned) on 12 hits, striking out six and walking five. West Noble Varsity Lady Chargers amassed 12 hits in the game. Weigold and Hilbish each collected three hits for West Noble Varsity Lady Chargers. West Noble Varsity Lady Chargers had patience at the plate, amassing five walks for the game. Mercer, T Creager, and Sato each collected two hits for Hamilton. S Allen, Ellert, B Mercer, Creager, and Sato each drove in one run for Hamilton. Hamilton turned one double play in the game.
