The West Noble boys track team picked up a big NECC West Division victory on Tuesday night at Westview by a score of 70-62. The Chargers defeated the Warriors in the 4 X 400 relay in the final race to clinch the victory. Highlights: West Noble controlled the sprints early, finishing 1st and 2nd in the 100-meter dash (Dustin Richardson, Xymire Barnes-Bridges). Relays were crucial, with the Chargers winning both the 4x100 and 4x400 relays. Field events proved to be the difference-maker: Dustin Richardson won both high jump and long jump West Noble swept the top three spots in long jump Ethan Yates won the discus Westview found success in distance events behind Noah Bontrager, who won the 800m, 1600m, and 3200m, helping keep the meet close. In the end, West Noble’s depth across sprinting, relays, and field events helped secure the narrow team victory.
