The West Noble girls track team walked away with an impressive victory over Prairie Heights on Thursday night. Key Highlights: Sprints: Gimena Aguilar won both the 100m and 200m. Aguilar set the school record in the 100m dash with a time of 12.60. This topped Stefany Dominguez' record breaking time from last year. Elyse Mead added strong points with runner-up finishes in both events. Distance: Trinity Parson won the 1600m and 3200m. Lanie Martin added a win in the 800m. Relays: West Noble swept all three relays (4x100, 4x400, 4x800). Field Events: Aguilar also won the high jump, showing versatility. Giselle Pizana took long jump. Kayle Jordan led the throws with a win in shot put, while also placing in discus. Overall: The girls team displayed total meet control, combining individual winners with strong depth and relay dominance to secure a victory. The Chargers travel to Central Noble on Monday for another NECC West Division meet. The Chargers are 3-0 on the season and 2-0 in the NECC West.
