West Noble Varsity Lady Chargers Fall After Strong Showing By Prairie Heights By GameChanger Media West Noble Varsity Lady Chargers couldn't keep up with Prairie Heights and fell 10-0 on Thursday. Prairie Heights jumped out to the lead in the top of the second inning after A Hardy hit a solo home run to center field, and A Certain singled, scoring two runs. Prairie Heights scored five runs on five hits in the top of the fifth inning. An error scored one run, B Godsey singled, scoring one run, Certain singled, scoring one run, P Gibson grounded out, scoring one run, and A Holliday singled, scoring one run. H Hardy earned the win for Prairie Heights. The hurler allowed two hits and zero runs over five innings, striking out nine and walking one. Marley Mast took the loss for West Noble Varsity Lady Chargers. The right-handed pitcher went four innings, allowing eight runs (five earned) on seven hits, striking out one and walking four. Mast and Izzy Beers each collected one hit for West Noble Varsity Lady Chargers. Prairie Heights collected 10 hits in the game. Hardy went 3-for-4 at the plate to lead Prairie Heights in hits. Gibson, Hardy, Certain, and Hardy each drove in one run for Prairie Heights. Certain stole two bases. The Chargers had several members from the local softball team come out to support the ladies tonight. Thanks to all that came out to support.
