West Noble remained undefeated with a competitive 3-2 win over Fremont on April 20. The Chargers (6-0) were led by strong performances at the top of the lineup, as Natalia Riegsecker earned a convincing win at No. 1 singles and Ava DeLong followed with a solid victory at No. 2 singles. The match was clinched at No. 2 doubles, where Darcy Ritchie and Mya Emmert battled to secure the decisive point for West Noble. Fremont picked up wins at No. 3 singles and No. 1 doubles to keep the match tight, but West Noble’s depth proved to be the difference. In JV action, Macie Miller and Bryza Valenzuela each picked up singles wins to round out a strong overall showing for the Chargers. West Noble will be back in action tomorrow as they host Fairfield in an NECC showdown with first place on the line.
