West Noble Varsity Chargers Fall Victim To Central Noble Rally By GameChanger Media West Noble Varsity Chargers could not hold onto the lead against Central Noble on Thursday and fell 10-6 despite leading by four at one point. West Noble Varsity Chargers lost despite out-hitting Central Noble nine to six. Trevor Steele, Trey Shisler, and Cameron Eash each collected two hits for West Noble Varsity Chargers. West Noble Varsity Chargers got on the board in the top of the first inning after an error scored two runs, and Steele doubled, scoring one run. A double by Eash extended the West Noble Varsity Chargers lead to 4-0 in the top of the second inning. West Noble Varsity Chargers added one run in the third after Joe Button singled to right field. Central Noble took the lead, 6-5, in the bottom of the fourth thanks to singles by Treyton Fletcher, and Parker Boots. Steele singled up the middle, which helped West Noble Varsity Chargers tie the game at six in the top of the sixth. Central Noble made the score 10-6 in the bottom of the sixth after Zack Chenoweth drew a walk, scoring one run, Caden Douglas hit a sacrifice fly, scoring two runs, and Nolan Fish grounded out, scoring one run. Ryan Bailey earned the win for Central Noble. The hurler allowed one hit and zero runs over two innings, striking out three and walking two. Rolando Villanueva took the loss for West Noble Varsity Chargers. The pitcher went two innings, giving up four runs (one earned) on one hit, striking out none and walking four. Button started on the hill for West Noble Varsity Chargers. The starting pitcher allowed five hits and six runs (two earned) over three innings, striking out one and walking seven. Fletcher stepped on the mound first for Central Noble. The pitcher gave up eight hits and six runs (four earned) over five innings, striking out six and walking six. West Noble Varsity Chargers amassed nine hits in the game. Steele and Eash each drove in one run for West Noble Varsity Chargers. Mason Taylor led West Noble Varsity Chargers with three walks. Overall, the team had a strong eye at the plate, collecting eight walks for the game. McKale Bottles stole three bases. West Noble Varsity Chargers ran wild on the base paths, amassing six stolen bases for the game. West Noble Varsity Chargers turned one double play in the game. Boots and Douglas each drove in two runs for Central Noble. Fletcher led Central Noble with two hits in three at bats. Central Noble had a strong eye at the plate, accumulating 11 walks for the game.
