West Noble Varsity Lady Chargers Stymied By Angola By GameChanger Media West Noble Varsity Lady Chargers had trouble keeping up with Angola in a 22-6 loss on Thursday at Angola High School. West Noble Varsity Lady Chargers jumped out to the lead in the top of the first inning after Brynn Weigold singled, scoring two runs, and Beyonce Marmolejo was struck by a pitch, driving in a run. Angola tied the game in the bottom of the first thanks to a single by Weisenauer, and a ground out by DeLong. Angola took the lead in the bottom of the second. A Mills singled, scoring one run, to give Angola the edge, 4-3. West Noble Varsity Lady Chargers took the lead in the top of the third. Natalie Gow singled, scoring two runs, to give West Noble Varsity Lady Chargers the lead, 5-4. Angola flipped the game on its head in the bottom of the third, scoring eight runs on three hits to take the lead, 12-5. The biggest blow in the inning was an error that drove in three. Angola scored 10 runs on four hits in the bottom of the fourth inning. Mills doubled, scoring three runs, Duran singled, scoring one run, DeLong drew a walk, scoring one run, L Mills singled, scoring two runs, Quaderer drew a walk, scoring one run, Stouder was struck by a pitch, driving in a run, and Mills singled, scoring one run. Duran earned the win for Angola. The reliever gave up four hits and three runs (two earned) over five innings, striking out four and walking three. Weigold led West Noble Varsity Lady Chargers with two hits in three at bats. Brooklyn Barden paced West Noble Varsity Lady Chargers with two walks. Overall, the team had patience at the plate, collecting six walks for the game. Angola amassed 12 hits in the game. Mills led Angola with six runs batted in. The outfielder went 3-for-4 on the day. Duran, Olouch, and Mills each collected multiple hits for Angola. Christman paced Angola with three walks. Overall, the team had patience at the plate, tallying 12 walks for the game. Angola turned one double play in the game. Angola were sure-handed in the field and didn't commit a single error. DeLong had the most chances in the field with eight.
