The West Noble Chargers girls track team capped off a perfect NECC West Division season on Tuesday night with an impressive 80-52 victory over Lakeland to clinch the NECC West Division Championship with a perfect 5-0 conference record. The Chargers will now turn their attention to the NECC Meet on Friday at Angola. West Noble was led by another outstanding performance from Gimena Aguilar, who won the 100 meter dash (12.63), 200 meter dash (27.45), and high jump (5-2). Elyse Mead added a strong night by finishing runner-up in both the 100 and 200 while also winning the long jump with a leap of 15-7. The Chargers dominated the distance events as Karla Dominguez won the 800 meter run in 2:36.38, while Trinity Parson captured the 1600 meter run in 5:38.78 and added a second-place finish in the 3200. Lanie Martin was runner-up in both the 800 and 1600. West Noble also earned victories in both the 4x100 relay (51.21) and the 4x800 relay (13:15.59). In the field events, Kayle Jordan swept the throwing events for the Chargers with a victory in shot put (34-9) and a runner-up finish in discus (110-7). Leah Pruitt added a second-place finish in shot put, while Kaylie Ratliff placed second in discus. Additional strong performances for West Noble included Allison Stabler taking second in the 400 meter run, Victoria Mendoza placing second in the 100 hurdles, and Jeniffer Gonzales finishing runner-up in the 300 hurdles.
