Chargers Fall To CN In Baseball

y GameChanger Media West Noble Varsity Chargers couldn't keep up with Central Noble and fell 7-0 on Tuesday. Central Noble got on the board in the first inning after Landen Burkhart grounded out, scoring one run. Central Noble added one run in the third after Treyton Fletcher grounded into a double play. Central Noble scored two runs in the top of the seventh on a home run to left field by Fletcher. Corbin Douglas earned the win for Central Noble. The starting pitcher gave up five hits and zero runs over seven innings, striking out 11 and walking two. Rolando Villanueva took the loss for West Noble Varsity Chargers. The pitcher went five and one-third innings, allowing three runs on five hits, striking out two and walking one. Trevor Steele, Trey Shisler, Matthew Trinklein, Cameron Eash, and Joe Button each collected one hit for West Noble Varsity Chargers. West Noble Varsity Chargers turned four double plays in the game. Parker Boots and Nolan Fish each collected two hits for Central Noble. Fletcher went 1-for-3 at the plate and led the team with two runs batted in.
