West Noble Varsity Chargers Wrangle Victory From Fremont Varsity Eagle After Back-And-Forth Game By GameChanger Media West Noble Varsity Chargers and Fremont Varsity Eagle traded the lead back-and-forth on Tuesday, but eventually West Noble Varsity Chargers prevailed 10-7. The game was tied at seven in the top of the eighth when an error scored two runs. West Noble Varsity Chargers were the first to get on the board in the first when Mason Taylor doubled, scoring two runs. Issac Clapp doubled to right field, which helped Fremont Varsity Eagle tie the game at two in the bottom of the second. West Noble Varsity Chargers took the lead in the top of the third. An error scored one run, to give West Noble Varsity Chargers the leg up, 3-2. Fremont Varsity Eagle took the lead in the bottom of the third. An error scored two runs, to give Fremont Varsity Eagle the upper hand, 4-3. Fremont Varsity Eagle committed an error, which helped West Noble Varsity Chargers tie the game at four in the top of the fourth. Fremont Varsity Eagle took the lead in the bottom of the fifth. Lucas Campbell doubled, scoring two runs, to give Fremont Varsity Eagle the advantage, 6-4. West Noble Varsity Chargers tied the game in the top of the sixth thanks to an error, and a single by Trey Shisler. A single by Campbell gave Fremont Varsity Eagle the lead, 7-6, in the bottom of the sixth. Joe Button grounded out, which helped West Noble Varsity Chargers tie the game at seven in the top of the seventh. In the top of the eighth, West Noble Varsity Chargers broke up the tie when an error scored two runs. Then a passed ball followed to extend the lead to 10-7. Trevor Steele earned the win for West Noble Varsity Chargers. The hurler surrendered zero hits and zero runs over one inning, striking out one and walking none. Caiden Grimm took the loss for Fremont Varsity Eagle. The hurler went three innings, giving up six runs (two earned) on four hits, striking out one and walking three. Button started the game for West Noble Varsity Chargers. The hurler allowed eight hits and six runs (four earned) over four innings, striking out five and walking one. Clapp led things off on the mound for Fremont Varsity Eagle. The starting pitcher surrendered four hits and four runs (two earned) over five innings, striking out nine and walking five. Shisler appeared in relief for West Noble Varsity Chargers. Taylor drove the middle of the lineup, leading West Noble Varsity Chargers with two runs batted in. The infielder went 1-for-5 on the day. Shisler led West Noble Varsity Chargers with two hits in three at bats. West Noble Varsity Chargers had a strong eye at the plate, collecting eight walks for the game. Shisler and Adrian Cantu led the team with two bases on balls each. West Noble Varsity Chargers turned one double play in the game. Fremont Varsity Eagle tallied nine hits in the game. Campbell provided pop in the middle of the lineup, and led Fremont Varsity Eagle with three runs batted in. The infielder went 3-for-4 on the day.
