First-Inning Spurt Lead West Noble Varsity Chargers Past Hamilton Marines By GameChanger Media West Noble Varsity Chargers defeated Hamilton Marines 13-0 on Friday thanks in part to nine runs in the first inning. Trey Shisler doubled, scoring one run, McKale Bottles doubled, scoring three runs, Adrian Cantu singled, scoring one run, Joe Button drew a walk, scoring one run, a wild pitch scored one run, Trevor Martin singled, scoring one run, and an error scored one run. A single by Button, a walk by Shisler, and a double by Cameron Eash helped West Noble Varsity Chargers extend their early lead in the second. Matthew Trinklein earned the win for West Noble Varsity Chargers. The pitcher gave up one hit and zero runs over five innings, striking out six and walking none. Dalen took the loss for Hamilton Marines. The starter went one-third of an inning, surrendering eight runs (seven earned) on three hits, striking out none and walking three. West Noble Varsity Chargers piled up nine hits in the game. Martin, Bottles, and Cantu each collected two hits for West Noble Varsity Chargers. Shisler, Bottles, and Eash each drove in two runs for West Noble Varsity Chargers. Trevor Steele and Bottles each stole multiple bases for West Noble Varsity Chargers. West Noble Varsity Chargers had a strong eye at the plate, amassing seven walks for the game. West Noble Varsity Chargers ran wild on the base paths, piling up 10 stolen bases for the game.
