By Mike Deak The results are in from the Northridge Boys Golf Sectional, which West Noble teed up bright and early this morning. The Chargers shot a 409 team score and didn't have any of its five qualify for the regional round, ending its season. Nolan Kelly had the top round for West Noble, the senior rallying from a 50 on the back nine to start his round to finish with a 44 on the front to conclude at 94. Blake Jones had a teeter totter start of his day, but finished four better on the front half to end with a 102. Blake Ewell (106) and Tristen Reed (107) rounded out the scoring columns for the Chargers, which had Gavin Keene land the fifth score (113). Home cooking was key for the tourney, as host Northridge won the team title at 329, Westview second at 337 and Fairfield, also a Meadow Valley dweller, was third at 340 as the three teams to advance to next week's regional. Caleb Vincent of NorthWood (80), Isaac Pfahler of Goshen (81) and Nathan Potter of Concord (83) were the individual qualifiers from the tournament. See less
