The West Noble Chargers improved to 2-0 with an impressive road victory over Goshen on Monday evening. West Noble controlled the match from start to finish, winning in straight sets, 25-12, 25-11 and 25-9. Head coach Alison Mead praised the Chargers’ mental toughness and solid team performance. She also highlighted senior Reagan Eash, who led the offense with 10 kills. Izzy Beers and Lydia Mead added six kills apiece, while Ella Limerick directed the offense with 20 assists. Mead, Darcy Ritchie and Beers each collected five digs. Mead and Beers also recorded four aces apiece. The Chargers will host Bremen on Tuesday in their home opener. Amenthis Shaffer led the Chargers with five kills, while Allie Stabler added three. Claire Shearer and Sophia Luevano each contributed two kills. Lauren Coy finished with nine assists and two aces. Defensively, Shaffer recorded four digs, Stabler had three and Brooklyn Barden added two.
