The West Noble boys tennis team hosted Fremont on Monday evening, with the Eagles coming away with a 5-0 victory over the Chargers. Fremont controlled the three singles matches in straight sets. West Noble’s Wyatt Blottkamp fell to Avi Patel, 6-1, 6-0, at No. 1 singles. At No. 2 singles, Brayden Brewster dropped his match to Liam Neuerschuandor, 6-0, 6-0, while Lucas Stringfellow fell to Garrett Forest, 6-0, 6-0, at No. 3 singles. The Chargers battled hard in doubles play. At No. 1 doubles, Sage Wigent and Zane Mitchell pushed Fremont’s Braxton Beeman and Quinn Lies before falling 6-2, 6-1. West Noble’s best battle of the evening came at No. 2 doubles. Zeb Eicher and Jared Click forced a third set against Silas Porter and Isaac Sheumann. Fremont won 6-2, 4-6, 6-1. West Noble will look to bounce back in its next match as the Chargers continue the 2026 season. Go Chargers!
