The West Noble girls soccer team earned a 4-1 victory over Angola, improving to 2-2 overall and 1-0 in the NECC. Allison Recendiz led the Chargers’ attack with three goals, while Carolina Garcia added one goal. Paulette Garcia, Crystal Villalobos and Carolina Garcia each recorded an assist. Goalkeeper Alessandra Torres helped secure the win with seven saves. “We played a much better game tonight as a team,” said Coach Macias, who was pleased with the Chargers’ overall performance. In junior varsity action, West Noble fell to Angola 1-0 in a half-game contest. The Chargers will travel to Fort Wayne South Side on Thursday.
