The two conference rivals were deadlocked at 1-1 at the end of regulation. Leo Lopez provided West Noble's goal during regulation as both teams fought for control in a physical and competitive contest. The Chargers (4-2-1) finally broke through in the first overtime period. Senior Marco Macias found the back of the net, giving West Noble a 2-1 advantage. From there, the Charger defense rose to the occasion, holding off Lakeland's attempts to equalize and securing the conference victory.
