The West Noble boys tennis team fell to host Churubusco, 4-1, in a competitive match. The Chargers earned their victory at No. 2 doubles, where Lucas Stringfellow and Brayden Brewster defeated Alex Driebelbis and Hayden Brown, 7-5, 6-3. Churubusco swept the three singles matches. Charlie Giercher defeated Jorge Guajardo at No. 1 singles, 6-4, 6-1, while Josiah Kline topped Zane Mitchell at No. 2 singles, 6-1, 6-2. At No. 3 singles, Tyler Jaquay defeated Wyatt Blotkamp, 7-5, 6-1. The closest contest came at No. 1 doubles. West Noble’s Zeb Eicher and Jared Glick battled Brody Shillings and Carter Davis through three sets before the Churubusco duo secured a 6-2, 4-6, 6-3 victory.
