The West Noble boys soccer team delivered a dominant performance Wednesday evening, defeating Central Noble 8-0 at Ruoff Mortgage Stadium as part of the PSM X ONE Soccer Series. After a competitive opening stretch, the Chargers broke through in the 28th minute and quickly seized control. West Noble carried a 4-0 advantage into halftime before adding four more goals in the second half to complete the shutout. Emanuel Gutierrez led the Chargers’ balanced offensive attack with a hat trick. Leo Lopez scored twice, Cesar Munoz added two goals, and Joel Moreno found the back of the net once. Eduardo Liera, Moreno, Lopez and Gutierrez each contributed an assist, while Angel Recendiz helped create two goals with a pair of assists. West Noble controlled possession and consistently pressured the Central Noble defense throughout the contest. The Chargers allowed only one shot while generating numerous scoring opportunities and corner kicks at the other end of the field. The victory provided West Noble’s players with a memorable opportunity to compete on the professional field at Ruoff Mortgage Stadium, home of Fort Wayne FC, while participating in the PSM X ONE Soccer Series. The Chargers’ strong offensive execution and disciplined defensive effort combined to produce an impressive 8-0 conference victory over the Cougars.
