The West Noble boys tennis team fell to a strong Angola squad, 5-0, in a home match at West Noble. Angola swept the three singles contests in straight sets. West Noble’s Jorge Guajardo fell to Evan Kolar, 6-0, 6-0, at No. 1 singles. Keith Lucernas defeated Zane Mitchell, 6-1, 6-1, at No. 2, while Ethan Golliff topped Wyatt Blotkamp, 6-1, 6-1, in the No. 3 position. In doubles play, West Noble’s Zeb Eicher and Jared Glick dropped a 6-1, 6-0 decision to Ywan Muna and Cayden Barron at No. 1. At No. 2 doubles, Angola’s Alex Sanchez and Myles Lang defeated Lucas Stringfellow and Brayden Brewster, 6-0, 6-1. Despite the loss, the Chargers gained valuable match experience against a talented Angola lineup.
