Chargers Capture 2026 NECC Tournament Championship The West Noble boys soccer team claimed the 2026 NECC Tournament championship Saturday with an impressive 3-1 victory over a strong Westview squad on the Warriors’ home field. Leo Lopez delivered a championship performance for the Chargers, scoring all three West Noble goals to complete a hat trick. Joel Moreno helped create the attack by recording two assists while Christian Hernandez added 1. West Noble generated nine shots and earned eight corner kicks while limiting Westview to five shots and three corners. Goalkeeper Ramiro Pedroza and the Charger defense held the Warriors to a single goal, allowing West Noble to maintain control of the championship match. The Chargers will return home Monday to face Bethany Christian at 5 p.m. The junior varsity will play one half on the middle school field following the varsity contest.
