By Mike Deak Leo Lopez slotted home a goal 10 minutes into the second half, and it held up in a 1-0 West Noble boys soccer win at Fort Wayne Concordia Thursday night in the Class 2-A regional semi-finals. West Noble peppered the Cadet goal all evening, Lopez hitting the crossbar moments later on another challenge and a pair of shots from Joel Moreno and Emanuel Gutierrez were turned away as the Chargers began to unwind the offense. Ramiro Pedroza was solid in net, making five saves, including a huge deflection in the first half that turned away Concordia's best chance. West Noble (16-3-1) will head to Mishawaka Marian Saturday at 4:30 p.m. to face Bishop Noll (15-2-2), which beat Mishawaka Marian in their regional semi-final this evening. Vamos Chargers!
