Offense Hard To Come By In West Noble Varsity Chargers Defeat To Whitko By GameChanger Media Both teams were strong on the mound on Monday, but Whitko was just a little bit stronger at the plate in their 2-0 victory over West Noble Varsity Chargers. Trevor Steele started the game for West Noble Varsity Chargers and recorded 15 outs. A single by Kirkdorffer put Whitko on the board in the bottom of the first. Harman earned the win for Whitko. The starting pitcher gave up two hits and zero runs over seven innings, striking out 12 and walking two. Steele took the loss for West Noble Varsity Chargers. The starting pitcher went five innings, giving up two runs (one earned) on four hits, striking out seven and walking none. Trey Shisler and McKale Bottles were a force together in the lineup, as they each collected one hit for West Noble Varsity Chargers while hitting back-to-back. Kirkdorffer and Long each drove in one run for Whitko. Harman went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead Whitko in hits.
