NORTHEAST CORNER CONFERENCE 2025 TRACK & FIELD CHAMPIONSHIP FRIDAY, MAY 9, 2025 ANGOLA HIGH SCHOOL TRACK COMPLEX AWARDS & POINTS Championship trophies will be given to each division (East & West) along with a Championship Meet trophy. ALL-NECC patches and medals will be given for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place finishers of individual events and 1st and 2nd place relay teams. Ribbons will be given to places 1-8. Medals will be handed out at the awards table located near the podium, please take pictures! Ribbons will be included in the results packet after the meet, please be patient as we prepare these packets. FIELD EVENTS: Each competitor in the discus, shot put, and long jump will be allowed three preliminary throws or jumps. The top nine throwers or jumpers will advance to the finals where they will be allowed to throw or jump three additional times. The top 8 competitors in each field event will score. SCORING: Eight (8) Places will be scored. All events will be scored 10,8,6,5,4,3,2,1. In the event of a tie, the points will be divided evenly among the contests involved. TIMING AND SCORING: The Meet Starter, Meet Director, Head Finish Judge, and timing system operator will be the only ones to view the computerized image in the case of a protested finish should it be necessary. PRESS BOX: The Press box and camera area will be closed to all except meet officials. No statisticians, coaches, parents, athletes, managers, etc. will be allowed in the press box. STAGING AREA: The starting area for each running event will be at the south end of the track under the tent. Instruct your athletes to report on time and check in with the Clerk of Course. TRAINER: Training services will be provided by OPS and available near the finish line upon arrival. If your athlete needs preventative taping, please bring tape along for them and they will gladly tape them. If your athlete requires maintenance ice, please supply that yourself. We cannot guarantee access to more ice and meet-day injuries will take priority. If any athlete has a lingering injury, please make sure they are seen by your trainer and have a treatment plan in place prior to this meet. CONCESSIONS: Concessions will be available. ADMISSION: $6.00 PARKING: All team buses can drop off athletes near the track complex then please move buses to the back of the parking lot. AWARDS & RESULTS: Awards will be announced as official results at the conclusion of each event. Coaches may pick up awards and printed results at the finish line at the conclusion of the meet. Final scores will also be sent to all athletic directors and the media. APPROX.
