West Noble Varsity Chargers Defeats Central Noble On Back Of Clutch Display From Jordan Eash By GameChanger Media Jordan Eash drove in four runs on two hits to lead West Noble Varsity Chargers past Central Noble 11-3 on Friday. In the second inning, Eash hit a grand slam to left field. Central Noble got on the board in the bottom of the first inning after Landyn Champion singled to center field, and Landen Burkhart grounded out, each scoring one run. West Noble Varsity Chargers flipped the game on its head in the top of the second, scoring five runs on four hits to take the lead, 5-2. The biggest blow in the inning was a grand slam to left field by Eash that drove in four. West Noble Varsity Chargers scored five runs on three hits in the top of the fourth inning. McKale Bottles grounded out, scoring one run, Trevor Martin singled, scoring one run, Champion induced Trey Shisler to hit into a fielder's choice, but one run scored, and Brooks Ruisard doubled, scoring two runs. Ruisard earned the win for West Noble Varsity Chargers. The starter allowed three hits and three runs (two earned) over six innings, striking out four and walking three. Champion took the loss for Central Noble. The starting pitcher went four innings, allowing 10 runs (six earned) on seven hits, striking out one and walking three. Bottles threw one inning of scoreless ball for West Noble Varsity Chargers in relief. The reliever surrendered zero hits, striking out one and walking two. West Noble Varsity Chargers accumulated 13 hits in the game. Ruisard and Trevor Steele each collected three hits for West Noble Varsity Chargers. Mason Taylor collected two hits for West Noble Varsity Chargers in three at bats. Champion, Treyton Fletcher, and Corbin Douglas each collected one hit for Central Noble. Champion and Burkhart were tough to handle back-to-back in the lineup, as each drove in one run for Central Noble. Fletcher stole two bases. Central Noble ran wild on the base paths, accumulating four stolen bases for the game. West Noble Varsity Chargers welcome Wawasee on Saturday for their next game.
