West Noble Varsity Chargers Falls To Wawasee In High-Scoring Affair By GameChanger Media West Noble Varsity Chargers's bats were strong against Wawasee on Saturday, but it wasn't enough as West Noble Varsity Chargers fell 25-10. Wawasee collected 16 hits, while West Noble Varsity Chargers had eight. Wawasee got on the board in the first inning after Kyhan Heisler singled, scoring one run. Trevor Martin singled down the right field line, which helped West Noble Varsity Chargers tie the game at one in the bottom of the first. A single by Finley Miller gave Wawasee the lead, 2-1, in the top of the second. Jordan Eash singled down the left field line, which helped West Noble Varsity Chargers tie the game at two in the bottom of the second. In the top of the third, Wawasee broke up the tie when Garrett Tittle singled, scoring one run. Then an error followed to extend the lead to 5-2. West Noble Varsity Chargers tied the game in the bottom of the third thanks to a double by Cameron Eash, and a passed ball. In the top of the fourth inning, Wawasee went back into the lead after Heisler singled to the left side of the infield, West Noble Varsity Chargers committed an error, Luke Lehman singled to center field, Addison Coy walked, and Miller grounded out, each scoring one run. Wawasee scored 12 runs on five hits in the top of the seventh inning. Martin and Eash were a force together in the lineup, as they each collected two hits for West Noble Varsity Chargers. Martin, Mason Taylor, and Eash each drove in two runs for West Noble Varsity Chargers. Taylor, Trey Shisler, and McKale Bottles each stole multiple bases for West Noble Varsity Chargers. West Noble Varsity Chargers ran wild on the base paths, collecting 12 stolen bases for the game. Wawasee piled up 16 hits in the game. Heisler went 4-for-6 at the plate to lead Wawasee in hits. Ryan Mack, Reidenbach, and Miller each collected multiple hits for Wawasee. Wawasee had a strong eye at the plate, amassing 14 walks for the game. A ground out by Mark Haynes put Wawasee on the board in the top of the first. Cameron Eash grounded into a fielder's choice, which helped West Noble Varsity Chargers tie the game at one in the bottom of the first. Wawasee jumped back into the lead in the top of the second inning after Grady Berkeypile hit a sacrifice fly, West Noble Varsity Chargers committed an error, West Noble Varsity Chargers committed an error, and Luke Lehman singled down the left field line, each scoring one run. West Noble Varsity Chargers captured the lead, 6-5, in the bottom of the fourth when a passed ball scored one run, and Jordan Eash homered to right field, scoring two runs. Wawasee flipped the game on its head in the top of the fifth, scoring five runs on four hits to take the lead, 10-6. Wawasee collected 11 hits in the game. Haynes provided pop in the middle of the lineup, and led Wawasee with four runs batted in. The catcher went 2-for-4 on the day. Haynes, Aidan Beer, Logan Hoffer, Lehman, and Finley Miller each collected two hits for Wawasee. Wawasee ran wild on the base paths, accumulating four stolen bases for the game.
