The game was tied at three in the bottom of the seventh when Derek Reed singled, scoring one run. Wabash Varsity Apaches opened the scoring in the third after Joe Button induced Haiden McWhirt to hit into a fielder's choice, but one run scored. In the top of the fifth inning, West Noble Varsity Chargers went back into the lead after McKale Bottles hit a sacrifice fly, and Wabash Varsity Apaches committed an error, each scoring one run. Wabash Varsity Apaches jumped back into the lead in the bottom of the seventh inning after Keaton Lane doubled to right field, and Reed singled down the left field line, each scoring one run. McWhirt earned the win for Wabash Varsity Apaches. The pitcher gave up three hits and three runs (one earned) over seven innings, striking out four and walking one. Cameron Eash took the loss for West Noble Varsity Chargers. The righty went two-thirds of an inning, allowing one run on two hits, striking out two and walking none.
