West Noble Varsity Chargers Walk It Off Against Bluffton Varsity Tigers By GameChanger Media West Noble Varsity Chargers took Tuesday's game in dramatic fashion, with a 7-6 walk-off victory over Bluffton Varsity Tigers. The game was tied at six in the bottom of the seventh when Brooks Ruisard singled, scoring one run. West Noble Varsity Chargers opened the scoring in the second after an error scored two runs. Bluffton Varsity Tigers took the lead in the top of the fifth inning after West Noble Varsity Chargers committed an error, Colton Arnold hit a sacrifice fly, Trevor Smith singled to center field, and Griffin Morgan doubled down the left field line, each scoring one run. West Noble Varsity Chargers jumped into the lead in the bottom of the seventh when Trey Shisler tripled, scoring two runs, and Ruisard singled, scoring one run. Rolando Villanueva earned the win for West Noble Varsity Chargers. The reliever surrendered four hits and one run (zero earned) over two and one-third innings, striking out one and walking none. Abram Gehrett took the loss for Bluffton Varsity Tigers. The pitcher went one-third of an inning, allowing three runs on three hits, striking out none and walking one. Jordan Eash led things off on the bump for West Noble Varsity Chargers. The hurler allowed six hits and five runs (one earned) over four and two-thirds innings, striking out three and walking one. Arnold started on the mound for Bluffton Varsity Tigers. The starter gave up two hits and two runs (zero earned) over two innings, striking out three and walking one. Shisler drove the middle of the lineup, leading West Noble Varsity Chargers with two runs batted in. The number three hitter went 2-for-3 on the day. Shisler and Ruisard each collected two hits for West Noble Varsity Chargers. West Noble Varsity Chargers turned one double play in the game. Bluffton Varsity Tigers amassed 10 hits in the game. Gehrett and Morgan were a force together in the lineup, as they each collected three hits for Bluffton Varsity Tigers. Morgan provided pop in the middle of the lineup, and led Bluffton Varsity Tigers with two runs batted in. The right-handed hitter went 3-for-4 on the day. Gehrett stole two bases.
