The West Noble girl's cross country team opened their season this morning at the Elkhart Christian Hokum Karem. The meet was held on the grounds at "The Lodge" in Syracuse. The girls were paired together and alternated running one mile loops in a relay style. Each runner did 3 miles for a total of 6 miles as a pair. West Noble put all four of their varsity relay pairs in the Top 15. Miles Foster and Jennifer Salas-Gonzalez finished 14th, Monet Bieberich and Jacky Silva 10th, Lynden Chordas and Mya Emmert 7th, and the pairing of Karla Dominguez and Trinity Parson took 1st place overall with a course record time of 37:56. As a team, West Noble finished in 1st over runner-up Goshen, 3rd place Northwood, and 4th place Wawasee. 8 teams competed today. In the JV race, the pairings of Karyme Barrientos and Victoria Mendoza took 1st, Rylea Shepherd and Maryana Troxel 3rd, and partners Ali Bloss and Allison Giltner took 13th.
