Chargers jv football team traveled to Angola Monday night. The Chargers fell behind early 6-0. Early in the second quarter, the Chargers would find the end zone as Spencer Miller would take a two yard handoff into the end zone. Creed Barth would hit the extra point to take a 7-6 lead. Late in the second quarter on a 4th and 10, Angola scored on to take a 14-7 lead into the half. Angola would take a 22-7 lead heading into the 4th. Early in the fourth, Jackson Christlieb would connect on a 10 yard touchdown pass to Brody Mast. Mast would also take the two point conversion into the end zone to pull within 7. Angola scored one last time to pull away 30-15. Stats Jackson Christlieb completed 6 passes for 76 yards and a touchdown. Spencer Miller had 6 carries for 18 and a score. Christlieb had 6 carries for 36 yards. Jadon Vargas had 8 carries for 29 yards. Brody Mast had 2 carries for 20 yards. Leading receiving for the Chargers was Brody Mast who had 5 catches for 63 yards and a score. While Vargas had 1 catch for 13 yards. Chargers drop to 2-2 on the season and will host Fairfield next Monday night. -Coach Mast
