West Noble traveled to Garrett Friday night for a chance to win the NECC conference title. The Chargers opened up the game with an offensive drive that went right down the field, but stalled out at the Garrett 15 yard line. Nefty Silvia kicked a 22 yard field goal to take a 3-0 lead. The Railroaders fumbled the kickoff and the Chargers jumped on it and were able to score again on a 15 yard rushing touchdown by Dustin Richardson. Garrett found the end zone before half to pull within a score 10-6 at the half. Both defenses made big plays all night long as it would stay 10-6 until late in the third quarter when Dustin Richardson took a 15 yard jet sweep into the end zone followed by a Silva extra point that gave the Chargers a 17-6 lead. That would be the final score as the Chargers crashed the homecoming party of Garrett and are now 3-0 in the NECC big school division are now 5-1 overall.
