It was a toasty morning on a winding, hilly course down at Huntington University for the girl’s cross country team. Despite being without their #3 runner the girls still managed an impressive victory in the AA Division (medium sized schools). West Noble had their entire varsity top 7 in before any other team had their fifth runner in. This depth proved to be the difference. The Chargers won with 69 points, with Leo (90) and Wawasee (90) rounding out the top 3 teams. Leading the way with a 4th place finish was Karla Dominguez followed by Trinity Parson (6th), Lynden Chordas (19th), Miles Foster (20th), Jaqueline Silva (23rd), Monet Bieberich (27th), and Victoria Mendoza (28th). The entire varsity 7 earned medals via their Top 40 finishes. JV was led by Rylea Shepherd (57th), Maryana Troxel (72nd), Jennifer Salas Gonzalez (74th), Allison Giltner (95th), and Allison Bloss in (105th). A home meet for the NECC Championship is up next for the Charger XC teams. -Coach Chordas Results at http://live.crossroadstiming.com/meets/702039/events/8/results/F/F
