The West Noble Chargers lost a heartbreaker in sectional football action to the Angola Hornets 21-20. The Hornets struck first with a Hawk Hasselman 22 yard touchdown run. The Chargers struck back twice in the 2nd quarter as Trey Shisler found McKale Bottles for a 34 yard td pass and then hooked up with Trevor Steele for a 16 yard td pass. Shisler then ran in a 1 yard plunge to give the Chargers a 20-6 lead to end the 3rd quarter. Angola then scored twice in the 4th including a 36 yard td pass over 3 Charger defenders. West Noble got the ball back with 2 minutes left on the clock but could not get the ball deep in Angola territory. The Chargers end the season with an 8-3 record and finish the year as NECC Big School Division Champs. Great work to the players and coaches! There were so many great moments this season!
